Welcome to our website!
The Singles and Pairs are a modern western square dance club in the city
of Santa Rosa, California — just north of the San Francisco Bay Area on
US-101. As our name implies, we welcome both single dancers and couples.
We dance at wonderful Monroe
, at 1400 West College Avenue. Monroe Hall has long been a hub
of square dance activity in Sonoma County, and has been lovingly
maintained by its owners over the years since its inception as a community
clubhouse in the 1920s. It boasts one of the best wood dance floors in the
county. (Although the one used by the Redwood
isn't bad, either!)
Our current dance schedule is:
|7:00 to 9:30pm
||Plus dancing and workshop
Note: On months with 5 Wednesdays, the 5th Wednesday is a party
night—we'll break around 8:45pm for refreshments, and resume around
9:15pm. All are welcome, not just S&P club and class members!
Our club caller is Lawrence

Come out on our regular Wednesday dance night on the 2nd Wednesday
of the month to get a taste of what modern square dancing is actually
like. What you may remember from school is just the tip of the
iceberg! Plus, we use lots of different types of music, ranging from
classical to country to rock— no scratchy fiddle music!
